Tlie deplorable quality of New South Wales oranges is understandable when the prices are compared with shipments from California, Brazil, South Africa and Spain, which are regularly bringing 17s to 19s a case. The Australian Press Association was informed that apart from some South Australian shipments early in the season Australian oranges have been consistently poor.
