LABOUR DAY HOLIDAY
WORKERS AT THE AERODROME. DECISION of the commissioner. (By Wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The Commissioner of Unemployment has given an assurance to Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., that the men employed on the New Plymouth aerodrome who would ordinarily be working on Labour Day will be granted a holiday and Will be paid as if they had Worked. This position Was reached as a result Of representations made by Mr. Smith to the Unemployment Board.
