ROTARY LEADER BACK

HOME AFTER SERIOUS ILLNESS. QUOTA BELIEVED INEVITABLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Oct. 5. The district governor of Rotary in New Zealand, Mr. J. M. A. Iliott, returned to-day. He went to the international convention at Detroit but became seriously ill and was three months recovering. Referring to his visit to England, -Mr. Hott said that though a dairy quota was repugnant it appeared inevitable. Many people he met thought that New Zealand had made a great mistake in not accepting the quota last year. The restriction would then have been small and prices would have risen. It would not be nearly so easy to secure terms in the future. Every effort should be made, said Mr. Hott, to see that New Zealand was not made the stalking horse for British politics by individuals who had their own pet theories.
