BURGLAR ENTERS HOTEL
NEAT HOLE CUT IN WINDOW PANE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Carterton, Sept. 17. The Lake Ferry Hotel, Palliser Bay, was entered by a burglar between sunset and 10.30 p.m. on Friday. Entry to to the bar was made through breaking a neat hole in the window and turning the catch. The thief took the contents of the till, £3, and whisky, etc., amounting to about £7.
