PLANES FOR EGYPT’S ARMY
DETECTION OF SMUGGLING WORK. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 14. The second squadron of the new Avro military biplanes for the Egyptian Army Air Force will be flown to Cairo on Monday from Lympne. They will supplement the" existing squadron and flight of Moth aeroplanes in use to detect the smuggling of drugs on the Mediterranean coast. Hakki Bey, Egyptian Charge D’Affaires at London, and Air Marshall Higgins inspected the squadron.
