CYCLE AND HAT DISCOVERED
PROPERTY OF OAMARU RESIDENT.
MISSING NEARLY A FORTNIGHT.
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Oamaru, Sept. 14.
The police were notified yesterday that a cycle and hat belonging to John Falloon, aged 37, a resident of Oamaru, had been found on the edge of an old reservoir. He has been missing since September 2.
He had been in the habit of going away by himself on various occasions and therefore his absence had caused no alarm until the cycle was found. Apparently when he left the bicycle Mr. Falloon had been repairing it, as the toolbag was open and the tube of the tire exposed. The police and borough council employees are dragging the reservoir today.
