MORE STREET CROSSINGS
LONDON TRAFFIC PROBLEM. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 13. The Minister of Transport has decided to increase the number of pedestrian street crossings in London as one measure for reducing the risk of street accident. There are at present 2000 such crossings in the metropolitan area, and these will be increased to 10,000.
