CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL DECIDED.

The Manawatu women’s golf championship was won by Miss M. Gamer, Manawatu, who beat Miss M. Guy, Manawatu, 2 up.
Miss J. Spring, Manawatu, won the Ekstedt handicap cup beating Mrs. Broderick, Wanganui, 2 up. The Manawatu handicap was won by Miss K. C. Cruickshank, Masterton, Mrs. D. O. Williams, Manawatu, going down 5 and 4 in the final. SOUTHLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. MISS P. PILCHER THE WINNER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. The final of the women’s golf championship of Southland over 18 holes was played to-day, Miss P. Pilcher (Invercargill) defeating Mrs. W. A. Scott (Timaru) 6 up and 5.
