There was a good attendance of the public. The totalisator handled £7596 10s, against £6253 10s for the corresponding day last year, an increase of £1343. An inquiry was held into N. C. Trillo s handling of Brigadore in the Okehu Hurdles. Though the stewards were not entirely satisfied with Trillo’s riding they decided to take no action as he stated that he was still suffering from the effects of a recent injury.
