CYCLING AT INGLEWOOD

DECISION OF THE POINTS CUP. The Inglewood Cycle Club continued its series of road races for the club’s points cup yesterday afternoon, when a road race to Eltham and back, a distance of 40 miles, was held. Throujdi gaining fastest time J. Foote secured tne club’s points cup with 27 points, while Reeve, who won the race, was a close second with 26. The riders were faced with a very strong head wind on the outward journey, and slow time was made with the scratch riders slowly gaining. In the return a fast pace was set but the handicap was too great for the scratch men. From Tariki to home the riders were in a good bunch and in a great sprint Reeve narrowly defeated L.
