AERIAL GOODS TRAIN
RUSSIAN FIRM’S ENTERPRISE.
Moscow, August 28.
A regular “aerial goods train service” has been started between Moscow and Kharkoff, in the Ukraine, a distance of 450 miles. The train is composed of an aeroplane towing two gliders, which carry parcels, letters and goods. A trial trip was made in May between the same two points. With three gliders in tow the aeroplane did the distance in four hours and a half, at an altitude of 3000 feet.
