JOURNEY ACROSS ICECAP
LINDSAY EXPEDITION RETURNS.
PERILOUS WORK OF THREE MEN.
(British Wireless.) Rugby, Sept. 10. The Lindsay Arctic Expedition arrived at Angmagsalik (Greenland) on Saturday after a 1000-mile journey by dog sledge across the Greenland Icecap. I, The leader of this British Arctic Expedition is Lieut. Martin Lindsay and he had only two companions on the perilous journey. The expedition engaged in further exploration of the mountainous area, which entailed a crossing at its widest part of the icecap, which is about 9000 feet high.
