GOOD GROWTH OF GRASS. As a result of the fine weather during the past fortnight the paddocks are looking very green and the grass is beginning to come away. Despite the low prices for bobby calves there are still some leaving the district. Miss G. Meredith returned home last week after spending a holiday at Taumarunui. Miss Fletcher, who had been at Marton for some time, has returned to Te Wera.
