HEALTH CAMP FOR CHILDREN
BUILDING BOUGHT AT WANGANUI.
SCHEME IS NOW WELL ADVANCED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night.
A further step was taken to-night in the establishment of a permanent health camp for children at Castlecliff, the Wanganui City Council agreeing to the sale of the tea kiosk to be removed to form the basis of the camp’s building scheme. The area of land, which'was given some time ago by Dr. A. H. E. Wall to be the site for a children’s health camp area, has been planted and is ready for the building scheme to be commenced. The large kiosk, which is very suitable for the health camp project, has outlived its usefulness, and the offer of the Wanganui Rotary Club, acting as trustees of the health camp, to purchase it for £230 was accepted to-night.
