CHARGE FOLLOWS ACCIDENT
NEGLIGENT DRIVING ALLEGED. CYCLIST INJURED AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A motor accident at Kilbirnie on Saturday night in which an elderly cyclist was dragged about 350 feet by a motorcar which did not stop resulted in the arrest of Robert William Gunn, aged 35, a labourer, on a charge of negligently driving a car, thereby causing bodily injury to Ernest Alfred Homor, Gunn appeared in the Magistrate's Court today and was remanded until September 19. Homor was unconscious when picked up and was removed to hospital. He was reported to be in a satisfactory condition.
