SYDNEY TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND LEADING PLAYERS NOT COMING. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Rec. 6.30 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 9. The Western Suburbs League team for New Zealand is not completed, but it is known that three leading players, Mead, Brady and Lindfield, are not available. The final match postponed from last Saturday owing to heavy rain resulted in Western Suburbs beating Eastern Suburbs by 15 points to 12. The attendance was 20,000.
