Partial breakdown of arrangements for handling 500,000 Nazis in Zeppelin Meadow resulted in utter confusion, delaythe arrival of the President, Herr Adolf Hitler, by an hour. Thousands of political leaders were unable to reach the field. Herr Hess’ .popularity was demonstrated when the crowd broke the phalanx of guards and overwhelmed him. Herr Hitler made his usual emotional speech, warning the world not to deny Germany he'r freedom. He claimed that as the result of the Nazi policy German Agriculture prices were above world prices. The new harvest, he declared, was adequate to supply the nation without recourse to imports. Addressing 35,000 Nazi women, Heir Hitler declared that German women were equal to, if not better than, German men. They kept alm when the men lost their heads in a crisis and were loss susceptible to Jewish intellectual influences. . Herr Hitler also addressed 60,000 Nazi youths aged from 10 to 18 years who assembled, forming the world “Saar.” He exhorted them to show obedience and fight for Nazi ideals. Germany will wait patiently until the Po wers decide to restore her colonies, Herr Hess told Nazi leaders. . He added that personally he agreed with a prominent Englishman who declared colonies were a luxury nowadays. “We need colonies for raw materials and exports,” he said, “but the foreign political situation is unpropitious to press our claims. Germany’s critics misconstrue our propaganda in the campaign for the restoration of our colonies.”
