SOCIAL EVENING AND CONCERT. A social evening was enjoyed by a large number last Monday at Mr. R. F. Roebuck’s residence. On Thursday a concert was given by the Okato Methodist Church choir, assisted by Messrs, W. Willis, P. Slater, C. Cockshead and C. Hodge, in the Tataraimaka hall. The programme was: Orchestra, “Rosebuds” and “The Patriots”; choir, “The Barefoot Trail” and “Softly Fall the Shadows"; humorous number, Mr. P. Slater; recitation, Mrs. T. Larking; humorous quartette, choir, “Profundo Basso”; sketch. “A Musical At Home at Mrs. Ozzletwizzle's"; orchestra, “Eternal Hope” and “Our Boys"; comic song, Mr. W. Willis; recitation, Mrs. T. Larking; conjuring and mind reading; choir. "Love's Old. Sweet Song.” The Rev. Grindlay thanked the. performers and Miss D. Peterson their leader.
