MACHINES FOR THE AIR RACE (No 3).—De Havilland Dragon. This is the machine which is being flown in the handicap section by the Auckland flying team, Squadron-Leader J. D. Hewett and Flying-Officer C. E. Kay. It has a cruising speed of about 140 m.p.h., and has a considerable range. A Dragon was also entered by Mr. A. S. Butler (England), but has since been withdrawn.
