HAWAIIAN ERUPTION
LAVA FLOW 500 FEET IN WIDTH. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Honolulu, Sept. 6. Kilauea volcano began erupting within its crater early to-day. The lava is flowing in a stream 500 feet wide from a height of 600 feet above the crater floor, but has not erupted outside the rim.
