MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
COMPETITION SHOOT SCORES. Good scores were recorded at the Patea Miniature Rifle Club’s competition shoot on Wednesday, Rifleman N, Coad winning the button with a possible. Rifleman W. Black was the winner of the trophy with 48 off the rifle, his handicap giving him the decision over E. Waterland and J. Bates, the scratch men with 48 each. V. Nansett won the- second prize. Details are: N. Coad, 50—scr —50; W. Black, 48—2—50; V. Nansett, 44—6—(ft); W. Honeyfield, 44 —6—50; C. East, 45 —4—49; G. Cosford, 44—5—49; J. Bates, 48—scr—--48; B. Waterland, 48—scr—48; T. Floyd, 38—10—48; R. Campbell, 36—10—46; Miss J. Carey, 33—10—43; Miss E. Willis, 36— 7—43; Miss N. Coad, 33—8—41; N. Nansett,-30-9-41; S. Leigh, 26-10-36; I. Fowler! 30-6-36. 'J Rifleman B. Walerland leads in the aggregate with 244 of a possible 250, J. Bates being runner-up. Three shoots remain to be fired.
