MANAKORIHI GOLF MATCH. CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL. In a semi-final of the Manakorihi club’s senior championship at Waitara on Thursday afternoon W. B. Glasgow defeated E. A. George at the 22nd hole. At the 16th Glasgow was 2 up and 2 to play, but George, playing good golf, won the 17th and 18th. Glasgow and Wills will meet in the final. The best cards returned in a medal match were: R. George 76—8 —68, W. Smaill 98-26-72. S. Richards 85-12-73, H. R. Soffe 92-18-74, H. Wells 101—26— 75, H. Moyes 107—26—81, C. Sampson 95—12—83. WAIWAKAIHO WOMEN S GOLF. RESULTS OF AGGREGATE BOGEY. The second round of the aggregate bogey match for Mrs. T. Wilson's trophy was played on Thursday by members of the New Plymouth Ladies’ Golf Club under ideal conditions. The aggregate resulted in a draw between Mrs. AtkinSon and Mrs. Tills with a score of 14 down. They will play off over 18 holes. The best aggregates were: Mrs. Atkinson, 14 down, Mrs. Tills. 14 down; Mrs. Curtis, 16 down; Mis McMullan, 16 down; Miss Home, 16 down. TEAMS FOR TO-DAY.
