Mrs. Duncan, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. Sexton. Miss M. Duffill, Hawera, is the guest of Mrs. W. Wilson. Miss J. Welch has returned from a short visit to Wellington. Mrs. Pruden, New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. C. J. Belcher. Mrs. G. K. Crawford, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. G. Pease, Mangatoki. Miss B. Easton, Wanganui, is spending a holiday at Eltham. Miss I. Carman, who has been the guest of Miss W. Carman, has returned to Pukekohe. Miss M. Goodall, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. H. Gover, has returned to Masterton. Mrs. T. Fountain and Miss P. Fountain have returned from a visit to Wanganui. The Misses Chalmers and Miss M. Osbourne are spending a holiday at Wellington. Miss Penwarden, New Plymouth, is staying with Miss I. Bleakley, Rawhitiroa. Miss B. Pease was hostess at tea on Tuesday afternoon. Those present were Mrs. Langston, Mrs. Weir, Mrs. N. D. Connell, Mrs. Sexton, and Mrs. Duncan (Wanganui). Mrs. A. J. McPherson was hostess at tea on Tuesday afternoon in honour of Mrs. E. Newlands. Among those present were Lady Carncross, Mesdames R. H. Gover, E. Butler, A. L. Picard, Higgins, C. A. Belcher, R. Lee, C. Cooper, Goldsmith, S. W. Crawford, Clemow, D. May, W. M. Peacock, A. Ware and J. H. Barnard. Competitions were won by Mrs. R. Lee and Mrs. Higgins.
