PUKEARUHE FACTORY DANCE
GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. There was a large attendance at the annual factory dance in the Pukearuhe hall, visitors being present from Korito, Inglewood and New Plymouth. Music
was played by the Mecca orchestra. Mr. V. Wells was master of ceremonies, assisted by Mr. L. Ellis. During the evening Mr. Kohn sang two songs and Mr. J. Joll gave a recitation. . A euchre party was held in the hall on Wednesday night with a fair attendance. Prizes were won by Miss Beulah Luxton and Mr. A. Phillips. Miss J. Harrison, who has been thg guest of Mrs. H. Wells, returned to Mangorei <?n Monday, .
Mrs. and Miss Sandford, New Plymouth, are the ruests of Mrs. H. Wells. Mr. E. Luxton returned to New Plymouth on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. R. Trass have taken up residence at Pukearuhe. Mr. and Mrs. L. Herbert are occupying the farm lately vacated by Mr. P. Carey. Miss H. Phillips has taken up her duties at Mount Messenger school. Mr. Marx, Mangatoki, spent last weekend with his sister, Mrs. E. Sulzberger.
