170 DROWNED WHEN BOAT CAPSIZES MADDENED BULLOCKS LEAP OVER By Telegraph—Press Association. Rec. 8.25 p.m. Calcutta, Aug; 17. Over 170 persons, including many .women and children, were drowned in a ferry boat disaster near the Daribhai Ghat in the Bihar Province. The boat, on which there were several bullocks, began to rock in the strong mid-stream current. The bullocks ran amok and leaped into the river. The passengers, who were panic-stricken, rushed to the side of the boat,. which capsized.
