Kitchen Tea.
An enjoyable kitchen and social evening was. held at the Kawaroa Park Bungalow recently to do honour to Miss Joyce Beal who is shortly to be married. The bride elect and her. parents have been associated with the Park for many years and are held in high esteem by those who organised this happy function. The evening was passed in dancing interspersed with items. Part of room was arranged as a lounge and was tastefully decorated with bowls of spring bulbs. Here card tables were placed for the.non-dancers. After supper the numerous presents were opened. The president Mrs. Oliver, spoke on behalf of the committee, and Mrs. McKay on behalf of the croquet club, Mr. Beal replying. Mr. G. Harvey also thanked all present.
