Mrs. B. Murgatroyd has returned from an extended holiday at Kaponga. Mrs. C. Bamitt entertained on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. C. Veale is visiting relatives at Tauranga. Mrs. Elliot has returned from a visit to Kaponga. Mrs. C. Nicholls entertained friends on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Corkill, New Plymouth, is visiting Mrs. W. Joll. Mrs. O. Furmage entertained at a jolly evening on Wednesday. Mrs. Eason, New Plymouth, is a visitor to Waitara and is the guest of Mrs. H. Vaughan. Mrs. Holland Auckland, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. Gilmore, has returned. Mrs. lan Calder, Feilding, arrived on Thursday on a visit to Mrs. C. Nicholls. Mrs. G. Croll has returned to Masterton. «. Mrs. S. Cole has returned from a holiday spent at Auckland and has taken up her! residence at Onaero. A number of members from the local Women’s Institute motored to Inglewood on Wednesday to attend the birthday gathering of the Inglewood Institute. Miss P. Chittenden of the nursing staff of the Hawera hospital is spending her leave with her mother, Mrs. H. I. Chittenden.
