COST OF MEALS ON RAILWAY
QUESTION ASKED IN PARLIAMENT. REDUCTION IN THE PRICE SOUGHT. (By Wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. A question concerning the price of meals, 2s 6d, at Government railway refreshment rooms was raised in the House of Representatives by Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, member for Egmont, who asked the Minister of Railways, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, to use his influence with the Railways Board to have the price reduced to Is 6d a meal. In reply -Mr. Forbes said he would be pleased to refer the matter to the Government Railways Board for consideration.
