OKATO FARMER INJURED
ACCIDENT ON SOUTH ROAD. CAR SKIDS AND OVERTURNS. W. H. Callesen, Kahiki Road, Okato, suffered broken ribs when his car skidded and overturned near Pitone Road on the Main South Road. Mrs. Callesen was a passenger in the car but was only slightly injured. Mr. Callesen was removed to the public hospital at New Plymouth after attention by Dr. Thorpe, New Plymouth, who is relieving Dr. Blackley. Mrs. Callesen was able to proceed to her home after receiving attention to a’ cut on her head. Mr. Callesen was reported last evening as not being seriously injured and he is progressing satisfactorily. The accident occurred at 5 p.m.
