£50,000 FOR DERBY WINNER
MAHARAJAH SELLS WINDSOR LAD. PRICE BELIEVED TO BE RECORD. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. London, July 26 The Maharajah of Rajpipla has sold YVindsor Lad, winner of the last Derby, to Mr. Martin Benson, owner of the Beech House stud, near Newmarket, for £50,000. Windsor Lad may be kept in training another year but he will be established at the stud in due course. The price is believed to be a record for a three-year-old, __
