SOCIALS AT OKATO
TWO ENJOYABLE GATHERINGS. ■ Two very fine socials were held at Okato recently, one in the Hempton hall, where games, competitions and singing were enjoyed. Miss Stanaway and Mrs. T. Larking sang solos. The other social was held at Mr. and Mrs. Bridgeman’s home. Again the evening was full of interest. Mr. A. J. Smith was song leader. All are looking forward to the social next Monday night. The concert party under the leadership of Miss D. Peterson is making steady headway.
