JUDGMENTS GIVEN FOR DEBT.

HAWERA MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Judgment for- plantiffs by default was given by Mr. W. H. Wodward, S.M., in the following undefended civil cases at the Hawera Magistrate’s Court yesterday. W. Page v. Percy Lundberg £6 4s 6d (£1 12s 6d); Normanby Town Board v. William Redding for 12s costs. Judgment summons orders made were as follow: N. Mitchell to pay A. J. Gyde £1 16s 6d, in default three day’s imprisonment: Wit Gower to pay Bennett and Sutton £l3 13s 9d (£1 Is costs) in default 10 days, the warrant to be suspended on the payment of £2 a month ADVERTISERS’ ANNOUNCEMENTS. The Patea Returned Soldiers’ Association, which has done much to relieve distress among returned men in tire Patea district, will hold its second annual ball on Tuesday for the raising of further funds. The ball will eclipse the phenomenal success of last year’s effort, it is hoped, lavish arrangements having been ■in hand for some time past.
