CATTLE CARGO FOR CHINA
SHIPMENT BY THE OLD KATOA.

Wellington Last Night.
The steamer Winifred Moller former-, ly the Union Company’s old freighter Kato will leave Wellington shortly with a cargo of cattle for Shanghai one of the very few shipments of livestock direct from New Zealand to China. The ship was to leave here this afternoon for Westport where she will take in bunker coal, returning to Wellington next Thursday or Friday and then loading the cattle. She will probably leave for China about June 15.
