Hilton Young speaking at .Swindon said applications for orders under the Emergency Act recently passed by Parliament were coming in and he was arranging for a standing conference of three representatives bodies of the British Waterworks Association, and the 'lnstitute of Water Engineers and Water Companies, the association to act in cooperation with the Ministry. He had also appointed a special officer of the Ministry to promote the formation of regional water committees.
