SUDDENLY TAKEN ILL
MR. GORDON FRASER. At Wellington on Wednesday morning Mr. Gordon Fraser, New Plymouth, of Burgess, Fraser Ltd., merchants, was suddenly taken ill and was removed to the Bowen Street private hospital. His condition yesterday was reported to be serious, but an improvement in his condition is expected to-day. Mrs. Fraser and Miss Fraser proceeded to Wellington yesterday. With Mr. Stronach Patterson, Mr. Fraser was leaving Wellington on Wednesday afternoon for Auckland to connect with the boat to Australia, where they were to be engaged in an important mission to the Commonwealth.
