RACE TO EGMONT VILLAGE
INGLEWOOD CYCLE CLUB EVENT. The Inglewood Cycle Club held the first of a series of road races for the club’s challenge cup yesterday, when the course was to Egmont Village and back. Seven riders faced the starter. The race was keenly contested throughout and resulted in a time record being established. The results were:— N. Bennett (21m.) 1 K. Ballantine (3m) 2 L. Standing (3m.) 3 Fastest time: E. Stockman, Stratford, 18m 425.
