CAMBRIDGE LIES IDLE
LYTTELTON HARBOUR DISPUTE. RAILWAY HANDS’ COMPLAINT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 30. The Federal steamer Cambridge, which arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington this morning with West England cargo, has been made idle owing to a labour dispute, railway hands objecting to only four sheet hands being taken on. There was no work up to 1 o’clock.
