KORITO DISTRICT NEWS
GENERAL AND PERSONAL. The Korito school committee s fortnightly. euchre and dance party was held in the school on Friday night when there was a good attendance. The prizes were won by Mrs. C. Keast ana Miss' Joyce Herbert, and Messrs. J. Waterson and R. Weston. Music for the dancing was played by Miss Snell, with extras by Miss D. Snell, and Mr. W. Ashman. The Monte Carlo dances were won by Mrs. E. Herbert, and Mr. M. Orchard and MiSs I. Herbert and Master B. Smith. Mr. R. Weston was master of ceremonies. Personal. Mrs. B. Herbert has returned from a holiday at Tikorangi. Mr. M. Orchard, Tikorangi, spent the week-end with his parents. Mrs. L. Herbert is visiting Mrs. A. Orchard. Miss G. Peters has returned from Kaimata. Mr. J. Mackie, Waiuku, was recently the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Peters. Miss Lewis has returned . from her holiday. Miss N. Kemp spent the holidays with her parents. Mrs. Gibson, Dannevirke, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Kemp. Mr. J. Ashman is visiting Opunake. Miss V. MacMillan was the guest of Mrs. C. Weston during her visit to Kent Road.
