REPAIRS FOLLOWING TORNADO. BOROUGH COUNCIL’S APPRECIATION “It was dangerous work done expeditiously and efficiently,” said Cr. P. E. Stainton when suggesting to the New Plymouth Borough Council yesterday that it should express appreciation of the excellent work done by the electrical engineer and his outside staff during the storm that followed the recent tornado. What they did so efficiently had proved conclusively that the standard of the department was very high indeed.
The council decided to place its appreciation ori record.
