Mr. Blair was presented with a handsomely bound volume of Bums' poems, and Mrs, Blair received a church hymnary. Mr. Bell, one of the original officers of the church, said it had been Mr. Blair’s wish that the church people should not be called upon to subscribe to q presentation, but the officers felt that they could not let their friends go without giving them some token of the esteem in which they were held. The church would feel the loss of two good helpers. Other speakers were the Rev. A. L. Dixon and Messrs J. Parry and A. Murray. Mr. Blair in returning thanks said that they were sorry to be severing their connections with the church, but would always remember their pleasant associations with it. Ten tables were occupied at the fortnightly euchre party held on Tuesday night under the auspices of the Waitara Cycle and Athletic and Axemen's Club. The prizewinners were Mrs. R. Neil 1, Mrs. C. Limmer 2; Mr. J. Cousins 1, Mr. R. Fulton 2. .
