DANCE HELD AT KAPUNI
YOUNG PEOPLE’S SOCIAL The monthly dance of the Kapuni Young People’s Social Club was held on Monday, when there was a fair attendance. Music was played by Waite’s Adelphi band and extras were given by Mr M. Whalen. Supper was served by the young ladies of the committee, assisted by Mesdames W. Williamson and G. Eliason. The hall was decorated with ferns and flowers. A Monte Carlo was won by Mr lan Walker ahd Miss L. Scott and a statue waltz by Mr M. Whalen and Miss E. Treanor. Mr B. Perry and Mr W. Williamson weie masters of ceremonies. Those present included: Mesdames W. Williamson (pale blue crinkle crepe and dark blue coatee), N. Crozier (black and white velvet), G. Eliason (black georgette and lace), I. Stevenson (green satin), W. Treanor (bottle green marocain), J. Byrne (black georgette), J. Kissick (black satin), E, Death (black and red crepe-de-chine), E. Cave (royal blue marocain), W. Welham (green crepe-de-chine), W. Wheeler (black lace and black pan velvet coatee), J. Levings (black georgette), D. Walker (navy blue satin and white organdie), M. Jenkins (flame organdie); Misses Isabel Death (blue frilled organdie), Flossie Hughes (apricot rayon and gold lace), Elsie Luscombe (green georgette), I. Loveridge, Tariki (green organdie and coatee), Mavis Parker (pink satin), Myrtle Luscombe (apricot chiffon and lace), Doris Burton (rose pink crepe-de-chine), Marie Cave (white crepe-de-chine and red coatee), Josephine Rogers (sea green crinkle crepe), Lena Scott (red georgette and gold lace), Edna Treanor (white Jap. silk and red velvet coatee), Peggy Crosbey (vine velvet), Crosbey (white art silk and cape), Joan Welham (pale green elephant crepe), Margaret Parker (blue silk), Mollie Wheeler (floral crepe-de-chine), Pat Castle (black georgette and lace), Olive Wheeler (black and white satin and coatee), Andrews (shot taffetas and velvet cape), Belle McGregor (floral crepe-de-chine and brown silk coatee),
