OPUNAKE
Miss T. Riley, of Pihama, left on Monday to take up duties on the nursing staff of the Northcote Private Hospital, Palmerston North. Misses A. Kennedy and M. Blackburn, of Auckland, are visiting Opunake. Miss Jean Hughson, of the Opunake company of Girl Guides, has been successful in obtaining her all-round cord. This is the first time an Opunake Guide has achieved this honour. Miss Avril Cooke, Wanganui, is the guest of her sister, Mrs C. Green, Rahotu.
