DECREASE IN SHIPPING LOSS
SMALL AMOUNT OUTWARD CARGO. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, March 30. The Cunard Company in 1933 suffered a net loss of £244,979, compared with £927,267 in 1932. The report states that the Commonwealth. and Dominion Lines’ Australian and New Zealand services have shown relatively good results, despite the small quantity of outward cargo causing many vessels to be despatched in ballast to fulfil homeward requirements.
