RIFLE SHOOTING PRIZE
SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. • Nelson, Last Night. The South Island rifle championship was won by Rifleman S. Barnett (Nelson) with 388 points. Captain W. N. Masefield (Blenheim), 386, was runnerup, while R. Jordan (Westport), 384, and A. Barker (Blenheim), 379, took third and fourth places. Barnett also won the Tyro Cup.
