SAMOAN NATIVE’S DEATH CAUSED. YOUTH SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. ' Apia, March 28. Tamasi, a Samoan youth charged with the murder of a Samoan man named Usoalii, of the village of Saasaai, Savaii, on February 26 by stabbing him in the stomach with a serrated blade swordstick, was found guilty of manslaughter by the High Court, presided over by Chief Judge Luxford and three European and one Samoan assessors. The prisoner was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment with hard labour.
