SEVEN-A-SIDE AT KAPONGA
ANNUAL CONTEST TO-DAY. The annual seven-a-side Rugby contest for the Kaponga Shield presented by Mr. A. O. Casey will be held at Victoria Park, Kaponga. Games will commence at noon and 19 teams will take part. The runners-up will receive the Hockin Cup. Each year good football is seen at this tournament, and spectacular action will again be seen with some of Taranaki’s best footballers in the contest.
