SCHOOL TENNIS MATCH
KAIMATA BEATS INGLEWOOD. The Inglewood School tennis team played a match against Kaunata at Kaimata on Thursday. A very enjoyable game resulted in a win for Kaimata by 13 sets to 3, or 378 points to 312. The results are, Kaimata names being given first:— Girls’ singles: Esma Riley v. Veda Braybrooke, 13—20; Dora Wood v. Noeline Nodder, 13—20; Phyllis Blackbourn v. Phoebe Crozier, 20—10; Sylvia Knofflock v. Valerie Penn, 20—11. Boys’ singles: Eric Peters v. John Nodder,227;0 —7; Maurice Harnett v. Gray Fowler, 20—15; Cyril Jordan v. Cecil Bennett, 20—18; Fred Gibbins v. Philip Norcross, 20—16. Girls’ doubles: Esma Riley and Dora Wood v.
