TREMENDOUS WELCOME
PRINCE GEORGE AT DURBAN.
CROWD OF HUNDRED THOUSAND.

A hundred thousand people to-day gave Prince George a tremendous welcome at Durban, the principal city of Natal, the Union’s most English province. The Prince drove through a mile of decorated streets to the city hall, where the Mayor greeted him as an “Empire ambassador.”
Earlier the Prince received homage from stalwart warriors of the great Zulu nation at a war dance at Maritzburgh.
