RACING STABLES BURNED
TWO VALUABLE TROTTERS LOST. TRAGIC FIRE AT WINTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, March 5. Fire at Winton destroyed the training stables of Mr. Frank Laneford at 10 o’clock this morning, and the outstanding three-year-old pacer Happy Go Lucky, who won three races in its last four starts, and the veteran galloper Taracona were fatally burned. Neither was insured.
