WEATHER TO BE UNSETTLED

SOME RAIN PROBABLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, The weather will be unsettled in districts with a westerly aspect, with some rain. Heaavy falls are likely on the west coast of the South Island, and later showers will extend to parts of the eastern districts of the South Island. A moderate westerly depression is now crossing the Dominion, following an anticyclone. It is of only -slight intensity. Moderate to strong winds are probable generally, in places reaching gale force. North-westerlies will prevail at first south of Auckland and North of Dunedin, and elsewhere there will be south-westerlies, a change to south-westerlies extending northwards. Seas will be rough south of Kawhia and in the Cook and Foveaux Strait areas, and elsewhere smooth to moderate.
